Morning After
As a whole, Wei Ying has long since adjusted to sleeping in the same bed as someone else who tends to keep a wildly different morning/night schedule. It's been awhile since he's truly felt annoyed by the fact. He's thankfully a deep enough sleeper for when Lan Zhan begins his mornings, but not always the most silent when climbing into bed at night.
Then again, a few compromises and agreements had been set into place. Wei Ying is still forever secretly pleased when he can get his husband to remain in bed for even longer, or to stay awake later. — Today, for example. Wei Ying doesn't immediately check the clock or his phone when he rouses from his sleep, nor does he need to. From the presence of light that filters into their bedroom window, it's obvious enough that five o'clock in the morning has long since passed by at least several hours.
He sits up for the moment to stretch. The events from last night can still be subtly felt as what originally was a blissful, almost full-body ache. The sight of the silken rope still fastened to the headboard has him briefly rubbing his wrists, his gaze then lingering along the form of a potentially still sleeping Lan Zhan. The other man is almost impossibly beautiful even like this.
. . . All the more reason for Wei Ying to give into his typical urges to take advantage of the situation. Before Lan Zhan can get to his feet upon waking, he'll find himself wrapped up - clung onto - in the arms of his dear husband from behind, not wearing much of anything as he snuggles in close.
